10x scale supported
Building the operating infrastructure to enable continued growth.
Scaling has been a consistent theme in my career.
Before moving into business operations, I developed my operating instincts in environments where growth exposed every weak point in a system. At Pearl Apartments, I supported the growth of a property portfolio from 10 locations to more than 40. That experience gave me an early understanding of what scale actually requires: repeatable processes, clear ownership, reliable suppliers, strong customer experience, practical systems, and the ability to keep daily operations moving while the business is changing underneath you.
That foundation has carried through into my current work.
In my current role where I joined as employee #7, I have helped shepherd a founder led business through exponential growth to around 70 employees. As the business expanded, the operating model had to mature with it. Informal founder led decisions needed to become clearer workflows. Ad hoc communication needed to become operating cadence. Every department needed stronger infrastructure.
My role has been to build that infrastructure while keeping the business agile and lean.
I have worked across departments - and in between the org chart - to create the operating backbone needed for a business to scale. That has included supporting leadership rhythms, improving reporting, building clearer approval pathways, strengthening people operations, consolidating systems, coordinating vendors, improving financial controls, and turning ambiguous priorities into accountable execution.
A major part of this work has been international expansion and distributed team support. I have personally led or supported the operational establishment of business activity across Singapore, New Zealand, and India, while also supporting staff and contractors in the Philippines and across APAC. That work has required a practical understanding of local operating requirements, payroll coordination, employment documentation, contractor structures, cross-border payments, banking considerations, vendor setup, and compliance risk.
I am comfortable operating in ambiguity, but I do not confuse adaptability with overconfidence. Scaling across markets requires knowing what can be solved internally, what requires process discipline, and when specialist advice is needed. Legal, tax, employment, payroll, banking, insurance, and local compliance questions all carry risk. My strength is not pretending to be the expert in every domain; it is knowing how to identify the risk, bring in the right expertise, translate advice into practical operating steps, and ensure the business keeps moving in a compliant and commercially sensible way.
That balance has shaped the way I operate.
I can move quickly, but I understand where governance matters. I can build lightweight systems, but I know when documentation is essential. I can work hands on in the details, but I also know how to create ownership so the business does not become dependent on one person. I can support a founder’s urgency while still protecting the organisation from avoidable operational, financial, legal, or compliance risk.
The result is a commercially grounded scaling approach that is practical and calm.
Across property operations, events, professional services, technology consulting, people operations, finance, and multi-country business infrastructure, I have built a non-traditional but highly transferable operating skill set. I know how to step into complexity, understand what is broken, create the system around it, and help the business keep growing without becoming chaotic.
This work demonstrates my value as an operator: I can take on unfamiliar challenges, learn quickly, make sound decisions under pressure, and build the structures that allow ambitious businesses to scale with greater clarity, accountability, and control.
